When you have enough clips, it’s time to connect them and watch a preview before exporting them. Detailed steps are listed below:
You can adjust the order of the shots by dragging them and re-arranging them on the main timeline.
To create a timeline: you can connect any two shots together by holding the left click of your mouse/touchpad on top of the circle dot icon on either side of a card within a shot column, and drag it to connect with another dot on a different shot card.
The logic is as follows:
If the dot is not filled with the color of the line, that means the line went behind the card to connect with another card.
Properties of the lines:
You can connect up to 3 dots on either side of a card. However, there is no limit to the total number of connected cards that you are allowed for a timeline. Should the need arise, you can also connect shots within the same column.
You can have up to 8 different colors for the lines. During the final export, it will only stitch togethers shots that are connected with the line that has the same color.
Deleting a line:
To delete a line, you can click on the line and a “X” icon will appear for deletion.
You can also select the line by clicking on it and press the “DEL” button on your keyboard to delete the line.
Once you have shots connected to your liking, you can drag out a line on the right side of the final card to a left dot on the export panel. The individual clips will then be stitched together for the longer preview.
When you click on the download button on the export card, you will have the option to either batch download the individual clips, or the entire preview in one long video.
